We are soon moving to the second spring since Wuhan’s lockdown for COVID-19. Luckily, COVID-19 vaccines are already available. What a miracle! Thanks to the scientists! Up to now, over two millions doses have been given. In the context of the pandemic, I have a question for you: will you hesitate to get vaccinated?

Vaccine hesitancy refers to delay in acceptance or refusal of vaccines despite the availability of vaccine services. A survey recently conducted by the Texas A&M University School of Public Health of approximately 5,000 Americans shows that 31.1 percent of Americans are resistant to the COVID-19 vaccines. Among them, Black American, women, conservatives, people who intended to vote for President Trump in 2020, and people with high levels of religiosity have the highest likelihood of vaccine hesitancy.
