As a general rule I do not post anything political. My personal views fall somewhere in the middle. However the recent attack on the US Capitol is a bridge too far. It was NOT a protest. It was an act of force meant to intimidate and coerce our elected officials to agree with the President’s false narrative.

There has been no documented proof of election fraud. I can understand anger and frustration when the desired outcome does not happen. However there is no place for a sitting President to actively undermine our country’s democratic process by stirring up hate and inciting violence.

As a retired, disabled veteran I cannot and will not stay silent. This is not the country I have sacrificed much for. We are better than this. One man should never have been able to drive such a wedge into our nation. Where were the other members of…
