When I started my undergraduate program in 2002, I did not have any passion in accounting. The choice of accounting program as my major was made by my parents who thought that woman should study a flexible major. My parents argued that accounting graduates could work in a wider choice of occupation and geographical area. Accounting information is needed by small to global entities located in any region. They expected that by studying accounting I could work without leaving my hometown.
As an obedient daughter, of course I fulfilled their wish and finished my undergraduate and master degree in accounting with satisfying grades. However, I pursued my own passion on global issues by taking International Relations undergraduate program and my passion on computer science by independent learning simultaneously.
