My Own Schooling Adventure Interlude

Autistically Unschooling

This is an Interlude (capital I) because periodically throughout the blog I will be Interluding about my thoughts and experiences regarding unschooling. In the end this blog is mostly going to be me (and my autism *waves*) with a smattering of John Holt, Alfie Kohn, Charlotte Mason, Peter Gray, and many many others.

I began to research unschooling while pregnant with my oldest child. I believe it was some random internet friend (long disappeared now) who first mentioned unschooling to me and I was intrigued.

School wasn’t a great place for me. From the *beginning I was ostracized and/or bullied (*1st grade was when I first noticed this as I didn’t attend Kindergarten.
