Coping Strategies Aren’t Perfect

Today has not been a good day. My wife and I went shopping (which I dislike). It’s not the crowds, the noise, the light, or anything else that the media will tell you. I dislike the way my wife shops. If I am going shopping, I know what I want, I get it, I leave. My wife like to browse. To see if there are any little secrets that the shop has. If I lived alone, everything would be delivered. And probably lots of the same thing, but that’s a different post.

I also have a shoulder injury and a trapped nerve. I am not good with pain. I dislike painkillers because they make my mind feel foggy, so I only use them when needed. I haven’t taken them for a few days because the pain has been tolerable. Still grumpy though. Plus the weather has been “fantastic” as everyone…
