For the uninitiated, Crash Bandicoot is something you might remember from decades ago. A bright and appealing platformer with a cartoony marsupial protagonist that arguably had its heyday and then kind of disappeared. Crash Bandicoot, and its two superior sequels, hit the PlayStation and took the gaming world by storm. Mario and Sonic had some legitimate competition here, after years of would-be platform characters trying to share a space with the iconic plumber and speedy hedgehog.
